0 Comments 1. Guitar Hero Drum Repair
Posted by Hans M on 2009-08-11 @ 07:39 pm

I just purchased the full Guitar Hero world Tour band set about a month ago. I was rocking with friends and having tons of fun until about 2 weeks ago. That's when my green drum pad decided to do it's own thing. Even from the moment I had set up the drum set, the green pad seemed to be not as sensitive as the rest of the set. But I got used to it. Then it decided to be way to sensitive to the point where I could trigger it by shaking the drums. It was fun to hit to notes at the same time if the colors were right, but that got old fast. Anyway I tried to track down another drum set for the XBOX 360, but no one has them. And of course I can't find my reciept so I can't exchange the set or use the warranty. But last night I decided to open it up and see what's going on after looking at common problems and fixes online. When I opened it the sensor for the green pad wasn't on the pad, it came off. So I stuck it back on and added some tape to secure it. Now it works better then ever, so I wonder if it was never fully attached to the pad when I first set it Up. But now it works perfectly and it only cost me ten minutes! And now I know what to do if it happens aqain. It's sort of dumb that this is a common problem, but atleast it's easy to fix.
