Chaos Legion is the game that wasn't meant to be. I rented this game a while back when it came out since it looked pretty cool. I really didn't play it then. But I finally got my hands on a used copy for really cheap. (That's what sort of persuaded me to PICK it up.) well I started playing it and it seems like a quick play. It's a pretty cool game, a lot like Devil may Cry but with out the guns. You just have a sword and you have to fight hordes of creatures as you chase after your mortal enemy. This game looks pretty good, looks like they Just used the Devil may Cry game engine. This could get to be a mindless slasher game since that's all you do from checkpoint to checkpoint. But you can summon legions to help you out and make the game play more exciting. You can use them in hit combos or just have them follow you around attacking whatever you're fighting. You also gain experience that you can use to level up your legions and you can find more legions as you pass levels. one thing that sort of sucks is that you can only equip 2 legions at a time to use on a stage. I think it'd be cooler (but probably too easy) if you could use them all on a stage. I found that the first 2 I got to be the best ones since they were strong. The others I got were weird and didn't really help any. It's weird that in many games like this, things you get in the beginning of the game often turn out to be the best to use. Anyways, I got more than halfway through this game and I was forced to quit playing it. Not by my wife or anyone else, but by the game itself. well the disk screws up after the level I dust finished and I can't get any further. sucks since I wanted to play it quick and was having some fun. Oh well, more time for Final Fantasy XII! Someday I'll have to get another cheap copy or something and finish it then.
