Want to improve your brain? I did, so I picked up Brain Age 2! Okay I had some "Reward zone" points at Best Buy and I wanted to find something to use them on. I picked this up since it was a cheaper game that I got for half-price and my wife wanted me to get it. She likes to play these types of games and I dig them too. They're sort of fun to play when you want to kill some time but don't want to get too involved. I already have Big Brain Academy where you do all sorts of puzzles and tests to get the heaviest brain. In this one you do different tests to get the youngest brain ale. This reminds me of the fitness tests on Wii sports, it keeps track of your daily progress with the different tests and gives you graphs and updated based on how well you do. After you do your daily training and are ready you can test your brain and take some random tests to figure out your brain age. The tests and training you do is a little more difficult and makes you think more than the stuff on Big Brain Academy. But there doesn't seem to be as much practice stuff to do. There are quite a few types of tests that are fun and some use the microphone as much as the touch pad. There seems like there could be a good amount of content to make this game last a while. And there is also a Soduku section with a good amount of puzzles to play through. And if you need to relax your brain you can play a fun Tetris like touchpad game. overall this is a fun addition to the Touch games for the DS, and for the price you can't beat it if you like this type of game.
