Left 4 Dead is an interesting zombie adventure that could've been amazing but settles for a fun zombie slaying game that gets old after a few levels. At first this game was awesome, it has great graphics/sound and some crazy zombie action. Especially when the horde attacks, litterely hundreds of zombies attack at once! Plus there are some cool weapons and some environmental items (like gas cans ... ) that mix it up a bit. But after a few levels you realize you've seen everything in the game, except for the change in areas of the game. I didn't realize this was pretty much just a multiplayer game when I got it. It would be awesome for a lan party. There is a single player option that seems like it would be a real adventure, not just multiplayer levels. But all it did was let me play through the multiplayer episodes with computer controller companions. So it's like I was playing online anyway.

Except for the opening movie there is no story in the game. The point is just to survive till the end of the episode. If there was a story in the single player game this game would be amazing. It has everything a good game needs except for a storyline. I still played through all the levels and it's a fun way to kill time (sorta like UT ... ) but besides that it's not that great. This had the makings of one of the best zombie games yet, the action is that good. I'm glad I got this off Steam for half price, I would have been mad if I payed $50 or more for it when all I got feels like a mod for Half-life 2.

CRAZY CRAZY ZOMBIE KILLING! Reminds me a lot of the zombies in 28 Days Later.
