This is one gam expansion I've been wanting to pick up for quite awhile. I finally picked it up recently for a cheap price and so far I've been somewhat disappointed. Now I loved Painkiller and play it every now and then. And I thought the expansion would be great, more new levels and story to keep this exciting FPS going. Well the game opens up with a pretty long story movie scene that continues right after Painkiller. After seeing the opening story, I don't think the name of this one applies too much. You tossed into random levels that have no more story and don't make much sense of where you are trying to end up. I'm over halfway through the game and the new levels look pretty cool, but that's about it. They turn out to be pretty stupidly long and difficult at times. They seem to drag out way too long and after one I need to call it a day. They don't make me want to keep going like in the first game. There are also some new weapons that are pretty cool. But probably the coolest thing about this are the graphics. They look better than the first, mainly because of much better lighting. So far there hasn't been anymore story, I've just been tossed into levels. I have a feeling there won't be any story until the end. I was hoping for more but it's just an expansion I guess.
